Making an appointment at Reproductive Medicine Wagga

When you decide to take the next step and seek fertility advice the first thing you will need to do is get a referral for both yourself and your partner. It is important you attain this referral as it allows you to claim a rebate from Medicare. We would recommend getting a referral from a GP as it is valid for 12 months as opposed to a referral from a specialist which will only remain valid for 3 months.

Your first appointment with Reproductive Medicine Wagga

At your first appointment, your Fertility Specialist will carry out preliminary investigations and organise any tests that may be required. Any previous history will also be reviewed. If you have the results of relevant tests performed prior to contacting RMW, it would be advisable to bring them with you.

Immediately after this initial appointment you will see an Fertility Nurse Coordinator. She will be able to answer any questions you may have and will explain the procedures involved in your treatment plan.

You will also be given financial advice and a written quote explaining Medicare rebates and out-of-pocket expenses.
